The Joy Effect

The Joy Effect

“A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones” (Proverbs 17:22)

Joy and happiness are contagious. Laughter is medicine that ¬†boosts your immunity, improves your mood, and relieves stress. The Bible says in Proverbs 15:30 that “A cheerful look brings joy to the heart, and good news gives health to the bones”.¬† I recently read somewhere that lasting joy is not a matter of what is happening around you, but what is happening inside you. This means that we need to choose to be a person of joy. This will have a very positive effect on your spouse and yourself. Where do you rate yourself on the Joy Scale?
