Don’t respond in anger, use respectful and appropriate answers.
Don’t get involved in arguments. Talking without them is possible.
Do not use silence to frustrate the other person. Explain why you are hesitant to talk at the current time.
Speak the truth in love always. Do not exaggerate or use words like “you always” or “you never.”
Be slow to speak. Think first and don’t be hasty with your words. Attempt to speak in a way that the other person can understand and accept what you say.
Be ready to listen. Don’t answer until the other person has finished talking. Making faces, making sounds or rolling your eyes won’t help either.
