The Joy Effect

“A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones” (Proverbs 17:22)

Joy and happiness are contagious. Laughter is medicine that  boosts your immunity, improves your mood, and relieves stress. The Bible says in Proverbs 15:30 that “A cheerful look brings joy to the heart, and good news gives health to the bones”.  I recently read somewhere that lasting joy is not a matter of what is happening around you, but what is happening inside you. This means that we need to choose to be a person of joy. This will have a very positive effect on your spouse and yourself. Where do you rate yourself on the Joy Scale? If you are not happy with your rating and want to return to happiness in your marriage, give us a call!
