About the Counselors:

Our counselors are more than willing to assist you with your counseling needs. Our staff includes Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC), LPC interns, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT) and Practicum Students. Feel free to choose whom you would like to speak with, and schedule a phone consultation or an appointment with them today.

Accepted Insurances:

Alliance Work Partners, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Curalink, E4 Health, EAP Consultants, Health Advocate EAP, Magellan Health, MHN and United Health.  EAP programs from these insurance companies are accepted as well.

Note: Each counselor accepts specific insurances. In other words, not all counselors accept the same insurances as the other.

Prices range from $25 to $125. The rate depends on the counselor that you see. Additionally, if you have insurance or EAP, these prices can be lowered or fully covered according to your health plans that you’re insured with.

We also provide pro-Bono sessions with a counselor on staff that is assigned by us. However, there are requirements and eligibility criteria that must be met in order to receive pro-Bono counseling.

Time Length of our Counseling Sessions:

Our counseling sessions are 45 – 60 minutes.

About Appointments:

Clients can schedule sessions online at here. When you schedule an appointment with us, you will receive both text and e-mail alerts for your appointments from the phone number and e-mail that you provide.

Before you schedule an appointment:

  • Know that you are required to fill out the intake form along with setting up an appointment. If you do not fill out the paperwork before your session, you will be asked to complete the intake form during your scheduled time slot. Please note that your session time will not be extended.
  • Have counseling goals in mind.
  • Prepare to commit to your mental health. Show up for your sessions and be consistent.
  • If you’re an adult and you want to schedule an individual session for another adult, that appointment won’t be kept. You are only allowed to schedule an individual session for yourself. The only instance that you are allowed to schedule for another adult is when you schedule for couples or family counseling.
  • First-Timers, when you’re scheduling an appointment be sure to choose either “First Individual Counseling” or “First Couple/Family Counseling”.

About the Client Paperwork (Intake Forms):

Before you fill out the required paperwork (Intake Forms):

  • Know that each intake packet must be filled out for one individual.
  • Also, you are not allowed to fill out paperwork for another person, unless, they are a minor under the age of 18 that you have parental or guardianship rights over.
  • Have your insurance or EAP information ready.
  • If you have EAP, please contact the company that provides your EAP plan and get your authorization number. It will be needed when you fill out the ‘Billing and Insurance Info” portion of your intake form.
  • Have your medication or any additional health information ready.

About Cancellations and No-Shows:

  • If you late cancel or no-show for your session(s), you may be charged the full fee for those missed sessions.
  • If you cancel, no-show, or reschedule your sessions multiple times, you’ll be required to contact the office and have a card on file for scheduling. Additionally, you may be banned from specific time slots.
  • If you fail to contact the office within 24 hours of a no-show for your appointment, you will be charged the full fee and then you may be banned from rescheduling another appointment with a counselor at Family First Counseling.
